We all differ in religion, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic background, and experiences. This is what makes are creative efforts have long-lasting impact.
The conversation on diversity and inclusion is at the top of every organizations list. However, the focus on how to retain these efforts is not steady and can quite frankly derail any initiative from its onset. What is important is that those at the top not only have to BUY into diversity and inclusion; they also have to follow through. Yes, the follow through must be with both: DIVERSITY & INCLUSION.
Without organizational focus on diversity and inclusion, only a few people will experience the intended effects of much needed work that only both can provide. Diversity allows people to come with their complete selves, and inclusion allows them to feel safe doing that.
