About the event
Join us for a Juneteenth Celebration as we screen our film to honor those women who have paved the way. This cultural film highlights the contributions of six icons, Harriet Tubman, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Mary Peake, Mary Mcleod Bethune, Zora Neal Hurston and Virginia Alexander.
The audience will also be able to participate in a panel discussion with the producer and director about the books used to make the film as well as a reception to follow.
