A critical role in nursing leadership is that of theatre presence. It will be important for the profession to create strategies to build the necessary skills for nurses to operate in a myriad of challenges such as cultural competence, adapting individual behaviors, emotional intelligence and understanding the economic, social and cultural factors that influence our work.
