National Minority Health Month

April is National Minority Health Month

As recognized by the OMH, Office of Minority Health, National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month is observed each July to bring awareness to the unique struggles that racial and ethnic minority communities face regarding mental illness in the United States.

The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted racial and ethnic minority communities. Our July digital press will focus on vaccine readiness as well as other preventative and educational methods to help bring awareness to help bridge the gap in mental health disparities.
